Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our growing team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to learn and grow within our reputable company. As an Apprentice Electrician at Copper Mountain Electric Ltd, you will work alongside experienced electricians and receive hands-on training while contributing to a variety of electrical projects.
Responsibilities:
- Uphold and demonstrate Copper Mountain Core Values (Honesty, Accountability, Care for co- workers, Care for Clients, Promote Personal and Professional Growth) while on the job site and in team
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment under the guidance of Journeyman Electricians
- Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and resolving them effectively
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Participate in regular team meetings
- Stay up-to-date with industry safety standards
- Collaborate with the team to complete projects within established timelines and budgets
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used through cloud based apps
- Actively participate in training programs and seek opportunities for professional growth
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled or willing to be enrolled in an accredited electrical apprenticeship
- High school diploma or
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and
- Excellent attention to detail and willingness to
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a
- Willingness to work in various environments and
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy equipment and working in various environments
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
