Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of electrical tasks, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. You will work on various projects, collaborating closely with our clients and team members to ensure successful project completion. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of electrical systems, strong problem-solving abilities, great communication skills, and a commitment to upholding safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Uphold and demonstrate Copper Mountain Core Values (Honesty, Accountability, Care for co- workers, Care for Clients, Promote Personal and Professional Growth) while on the job site and in team settings
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with relevant codes and regulations
- Perform electrical wiring, conduit bending, and cable pulling for residential and commercial projects
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using testing devices and techniques
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and team members to understand project requirements and provide effective solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and electrical standards during all tasks and projects
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used through cloud based apps
- Provide guidance and training to apprentices and less experienced team members as needed
Requirements:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license/certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety procedures
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy equipment and working in various environments
- Willingness to lead in team meetings and training opportunities
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record
